Mural designer/teaching artist Camille Perrottet and teacher/project coordinator Nick Pelafas worked with 15 low-income students from P.S. 94, participants in an afterschool program sponsored by the Sunset Park Center for Family Life.  Working over a six-week period, the 10-year old students established the mural’s theme – the environment – and developed and implemented their design inspired by Henri Matisse’s late-career cutouts.
